Tom Cosm - Free Music and Ableton Live Tutorials.
Tom Cosm is another one of the generous musicians, producers, sound engineers making their music and resources available for free. I have been watching Toms progress over the last couple of years and it amazes me at how much he gives to the music community on a continuous basis.
Tom hails from New Zealand and is one of the best performance artists using Ablton Live not just as a sequencer, but as an instrument in his performances and manipulating his music on the fly.
Tom just returned recently from a European tour where he travelled around performing and conducting Ableton Live workshops along the way. Tom performs primarily trance but does include other genres in his sets as well, keeping his audiences hoppin. You can download his music for free on his site.
He is continuously adding new tutorials, Live sets and videos to his site that help new Ableton users getting started with the software. He is totally immersed in the tech side of music production and is always willing to discuss and teach what he knows to others. He has made some really useful quality video tutorials covering everything from basic Live setup to complex effect techniques and very interesting synthesis concepts.
