You might have noticed that we are making a few changes to the site design at Togeo Studios again. We want to focus on the free music production resources to help make it easier for visitors to find our free downloads. It is after all the main site attraction and we were not happy with the January site re-designs focus. We think that the 2009 overall look was good but did not feel that the download section was carrying its weight on the Togeo Studios home page. Now it does and we would like to put our music production/sound design forum to better use to help bring about more interaction between the community members. The older articles are all still here but have been moved into the blog area and the audio resource link page is still available as well.
The whole point of the Togeo Studios website was to provide a community environment for sound designers, musicians, music producers and people interested in home audio production. We are constently learning new ways to use our computers as true digital audio workstations. In combination with the rapidly evolving sequencing and audio recording software programs like Ableton Live, Sonar, Cubase, Acid Pro, FL Studio, Reason and a host of other commercial as well as free open source programs. They keep getting better, but also technically more complicated with each new update and version release. So we are always learning new tricks and tips that we could share with each other.
So our goal is to provide our friends and fellow music makers, the ability to be able to share our knowledge, ideas and resources with each other for the improvement of the community as a whole. Over the years we have used many different software programs and have built up a library of loops, samples, vst presets and midi data files and you probably have too. The usefulness of these files in our own music production and projects may be overlooked by us now but we think that others may be able to use them as building blocks or inspirational materials within their own productions. We are pretty sure that many of you may be in the same position and have similar librarys of sounds and loops to share too. So lets use the forum as a sort of clearing house between TS community members to share these audio resources.
