Jamendo the free CC music website just recently past the 20,000 album mark and was voted as one of the top 100 web apps on CNets webware 100 for 2009. Music on Jamendo is released under a creative commons license and may be freely and legaly distributed and shared. Its a great place to pick up on some really exceptional new music in just about any genre or musical style you can think of. Registration and membership is free and there are no costs for artists to upload there music or limits on how much you can upload. Artists can optionally earn money through donations, revenue sharing and participation in the Jamendo Pro program services.
