If you are using the free VJO SP1 music video effects animation program that we wrote about earlier, there is a new beta version 1.30 available that you should install. The previous versions from 1.19-22 had some problems and bugs that could not be fixed so the developer backtracked and released a completely rewritten update that is now running very stable. There is also news of a new media player being developed that should make things even better for including and manipulating movie clips and playlists within your shows and installation projects.
VJO in its current state is free and has loads of good VeeJay features that should not be missed. One really nice thing about VJO that I really like, since I do not use it live, is the ability to render the finished project out as a video with all of the effects and beatmatching to audio included. Not even all of the expensive commercial VJ programming software will do that.
So if you are already using Visual Jockey get the update here.
