Novation and Ableton have joined forces to bring out a new controller for Live called Launchpad. With 64 pads, 4 modes and an expected pricetag of USD 199/149 Euro, launchpad looks to be a very popular controller this Holiday season. Weighing in at just over 700 grams Live performers will love its big colorful lit buttons. The custom user modes will be a very interesting feature when Max for Live comes out. Scheduled to be released worldwide on November 1st, 2009.
