Your Live Version?

What version of Ableton Live are you currently using.

We upgraded to Live 7 on its release last year and would like to know what version TS-Forum users are working with. If your working with an older version, do you plan to upgrade? If not, tell us your reasons why. Let us know your thoughts about Ableton Lives upgrades and support?

On six for now... expanding fam, and a cross country move have kept me from upgrading for the time being, but I think I'll prolly upgrade to 8 at some point in the next year.

I started on Live 6 too after buying some M-audio gear and it came with Live Lite. Got the bug from that and bought Live 7 without the suite for Christmas in 2007. Live 8 has a lot of things that is making me lean towards getting it too. Would really like to get the Suite this time around for the synths and Sampler at least, but I will have to see.

My wife just kind of gets this blank distant stare whenever I talk about new gear or Live 8 now. LOL

Ya, I have been trying it out too, pretty nice new features coming in this version.

Finally got my wife interested in the benefits of software and she has allowed me to splash out on 8. I just got laid off from work though so maybe she regrets her decision on that one a bit.
I've been talking up getting a new MIDI controller, keyboard and possibly a decent mixer as well and she seems pretty alright about it as long as I get out there and start earning the money.

I know what you mean. One of our computers just bit the dust, which threw a kink in our plans to upgrade Ableton to Live 8. Still trying to come up with a way to do it and get the computer repaired. Plus Abletons discount runs out at the end of June so that hurts to not take advantage of also. When it rains, it poors... er pours.
