We just started using the release canidate for the new windows 7 operating system. So far no complaints, infact it seems to be an improvement over xp and vista. Running very stable even though its not a final build. Quite an impressive update for windows.

Ableton is running smoother and faster with less latency. Every program I wanted to run so far has been ok and the drivers as well. Have to see how it goes after I have been using it longer but so far, so good.

Just need more Drivers for midi and keyboards. I have an Edirol PCR-50 and there is no win 7 drivers. It was suggested that i install the vista drivers as they would work but they havent. All in good time suppose. Apart from that I completely agree. Win 7 is alot more stable and faster than its counterparts! Smile

You might try right-clicking on the driver installer and running as an administrator. I dont know if that will work, but I have seen a lot of programs and drivers get going on Windows 7 like that.

Our M-Audio Axiom49 keyboard used to need a midi driver installed on xp and on Win 7 it runs out of the box, plug n play, that was a nice plus.
