Octoberfest?

Here in Germany October fest just ended. For those of you not in Germany do they have any kind of similar festivals where your at? We got to down a few, but we didnt go to Munich.
I know in Michigan where I grew up, they had a mini, and I do mean mini Octoberfest with the music and all. Although after getting used to the German beer now for quite a few years, it really wasn't the same with American beer.
So did anyone get to do any partying and beer drinking.
