SST GENs FP1 for Ableton Live 7.
Ambient soundscapes and evolving textures are the theme of Togeo Studios SST GENs FP1, a free live pack for Ableton Live 7 using the simpler instrument.
SST GENS macros control 4 bandpass filters and more.
The pack contains 42 soundscape texture generators built on the Live 7 simpler instrument.
Each generator consists of a group of 4 simplers running through a quad bandpass filter setup. Adjusting the four individual frequency controllers allows you to combine the samples to create new sounds.
Besides the bandpass filters there are also macro controls for pitch, resonance, spread and volume.
The SST GENs FP1 are perfect for creating a wide variety of deep pulsing textures and drones perfect for spacey ambient, techno, chillout, industrial and experimental idm types of music.
