These are just the audio samples from the SST Gens V2 free Ableton Live pack we released in October 2008. We decided to release our samples seperate from the pack for those of you who are not using Ableton Live and would like to use just the Togeo Studio samples.
These audio files should work in any DAW, sequencer or sample that uses standard wave files such as, Acid Pro, Cubase, Project5, FL Studio, Energy XT, Sonar and many more.
There are 128, stereo, 44,1khz, 16bit wav format audio samples in the pack each with a 4 measure duration. The samples are free to use as you like in your own music productions. You may slice, modify, resample or whatever and they are being released under a creative commons license to include allowing use in commercial projects.
In the original SST Gens V2 Live pack (link), we layered 4 samples at a time in each Live Simpler device. A transpose pitch control, band-pass filter and envelope were then assigned to each audio samples chain to get varying combinations of soundscapes and pads. So if your not using Ableton you should be able to accomplish the same effect in other samplers.
We will repack and release our other SST and Simple Synth library samples shortly and we hope they can be of some use to you.
