Visual Jockey SP1 - Free VJ Software

Music video production and realtime animation software tool Visual Jockey (VJO) is available for free. VJO is a very sophisticated, yet user friendly program to make animations and video presentations in realtime in sync with your music. The freeware version of VJO comes with a huge assortment of effects and examples to get you started producing your own music videos or live shows.

The software is very profesionally presented. When you first open it you are welcomed with a help screen to aid you in the initial setup of your sound, midi and open gl graphics components as well as tutorials that explain the VJO program features. Although it is now free, this package has just about every feature you could want or imagine and is also very cpu freindly to boot.

Visual Jockey SP1 free was released in Febuary 2008 and the current version is the 1.07 update. The program is running stable on our single core pc with 2Gb of ram and a Nvidia 6600 GT Open GL graphic card. VJO can also use open source Freeframe plugin effects and it also has its own built-in Mangle effects language and SDK so you can create your own. This is a very complete and robust package that has more than enough options and capabilities to perform quite complex VJ graphic operations.
